The world's most wanted man has been subjected to a shave, a haircut and fitted into a beige Western suit in the latest U.S. attempt to track down Osama bin Laden.


In its latest propaganda salvo, U.S. airplanes have dropped leaflets in parts of Afghanistan depicting a smooth-cheeked, Westernized bin Laden on one side of the leaflet and a picture of a dead al Qaeda operative on the other side with the text: "The murderer and coward has abandoned you."

The revamp suggests that the indicted terrorist had abandoned his al Qaeda fighters and turned his back on the cause now that the battle appeared to be lost.

The Pentagon has provided no details on how many leaflets were dropped or their target areas since the leaflet distribution began last week. It has also not officially commented on whether the picture of the elusive terrorist mastermind was doctored.

bin laden may have a cause derar my friend but if he is responsible for the 11 of sept atacks (i`ve not seen conclusive proof) he and his deserve a life sentance in prison

Yeah i agree that if bin laden did this he deserves jail ....
but i dont think he did this .
but the question is : why would the most powerful country in the world , that has the most powerful media , army , economy ....... use such stupid propaganda , use a lie ..... lie to the ppl , and fake something up to get their enemy !!

this makes me think again how they became the most powerful country in the world !!

CATCH HIM ALIVE!? Good lord the first US troop to see him will just start firing away. By the time they're done they won't be able to identify the body with all the bullet holes! Hahahaa then we can say that they just shot some innocent civilian instead.

I just found out my Leopard Gecko is from Afghanistan and that he's planning to make his glass aquarium explode with a sucide bomb! I knew I couldn't trust the little towel-headed-gecko bastard! I found out because his little rock/cave had minature bomb plans and the words "I'm going to make my aquarium explode with a suicide bomb" on it. Not very good security. I'll drop a minature copy of Guerilla Warfare in and hope to sway his ideas...
