New hashtag appeared on the social networks … #JoeBart was killed by police in Oakland yesterday.

Black man was killed in the back while he was trying to surrender.

There are a lot of guess-works, no facts and streets full of rioters. One more day = one more death.

Oakland has 22.8% of crimes and considered as dangerous and unstable city. From 400 000 population here is 28% of black people.
Here no doubts that unrests will lead to catastrophic consequences to the city indeed.

#BlackLivesMatter’ supporters are shouting out loud that police has no limits, and they won’t stop until the justice will triumph.

But media still keeps silence about details.

I can't follow all these incidents to say who's "righteous" every time. Capitalistic law enforcement continues to rely heavily on high-speed pursuits over busy streets that end with shooting in populous areas, with the attendant risks to uninvolved bystanders who might end up in the paths of whizzing vehicles or bullets. In a robbery, I think plain gumshoe methods will usually catch suspects who flee; the drama is unnecessary. The only reason to have these Wild West scenes is the intimidation factor they bring onto proletarian neighborhoods.

Let me make it simple for you: the cops are never right.

when you consider the institution that enforces civil order as poverty, racism, etc.. I think the answer is pretty obvious

how awesome is it that oakland protestors shutdown the freeway over this? If they had just marched on city hall or something nobody outside of san francisco would've even noticed

I'm surprised how silent they are honestly. I live in the area and turn on the local news every night since I have nothing else to watch, and this is the first I hear of this. I checked the local event websites. Looks like there's something on Friday. If it draws a crowd today, I might check it out and report back tomorrow.
