I'm a 17 year old socialist living in the great, progressive state of Illinois. I have come to this site to learn the opinions of others on the matters of communism, socialism, and other leftist ideologies. I have also come for some light reading suggestions.

Out in that place that we call the real call the world, I am a student, currently finishing my high school career, while also studying to become a CNA so I can earn extra money whilst in college. Anyway, great to be here.

If you'd like some light reading there are various modern graphical interpretations of Marx in book form. Marx even wrote a couple of short works himself, as did Friedrich Engels.
