Ever since I joined this forum, I feel like I'm inside a pool of knowledge filled with information about all political movements I really enjoy learning about. As if I've hit the motherload.
Anyway. This time it's about anarchism. In my eyes this is the least understood political philosophy and theory of all time. I would very much like to learn more about it. Where should I start: books, essays, most notable anarchists etc. And could you tell me more about the debate Marx vs. Bakunin?
Same as last time: point me in the right direction and I'll be on my way.

When I first started learning more about anarchism, I found Kropotkin's "Conquest of Bread" to be quite easy to read and gave me a good general idea of anarchism. So I'd definitely recommend starting with that. Give his other work "Fields, Factories and Workshops" a read too but most of all, Conquest of Bread felt like a good general introduction, gave me the basics that I needed to know.

Why point you in a direction? You'll only run backwards.
