Hello all, I'm an Dutch adolescent. I discovered RevLeft when searching on the internet about leftist topics. I liked the discussion and wanted to participate, that's why I made this account.

My political views are not clearly defined. I consider myself anti-authoritarian and I sympathize with anarchist thought. The essay The Soul of Man Under Socialism from Oscar Wilde inspired me a lot about how my utopian leftist society would look.

Other hobbies...? I like software development (and being involved in the free software movement), IT in general, reading literature and discovering different fields of interest.

I hope to have a good time here. Ask questions if you like!

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Good to see another fellow Dutchie :) I'm also a free software enthusiast. What OS do you run? What do you develop?

I often wonder why these two always have been the two single most represented groups on Revleft, english as first language countries aside? Just look at the sizes of the language forums, even though they are more quiet nowadays.

I have some theories but none of them seem to explain it all.

Thanks for the welcoming message and nice to see someone else from The Netherlands.

My OS is a GNU/Linux distribution. I'll tell you what I develop via PM, for privacy reasons.

I'll take a look at the learning section, thanks.
