Hello Comrades!
I found this site when I was looking for a leftist fourm that had leftists of all tendices since I belive that the left needs to work together for the common goal of getting rid of capitalism. I have been reading some of the threads here and the community seems to be great.
A little bit about me,
I'm 16 years old and first was introduced to Marxism in my history class. fortunately my history teacher, when teaching us about communism, first taught us about Marx and Marxism, as opposed to the Soviet union and Stalin, so I didn't get the warped view that "Communism killed millons of people!!!" that many seem to posess. Later in the school year I found that the school library had a copy of the Communist manefesto and I decied to read it. Everything in the manifesto made sense to me, History being a class struggle between opossing classes, opresser and opressed Bourgeoisie and the Proletariat and all that. I am also fourtunate that at my school there is another serious leftist, who is a Anarcho-communist.
My tendency is Libertarian Marxism, and I belive that only the workers themselves can lead themselves to freedom from capitalism.
