My family is leftist definetely not conservative. Talking to my dad about the communist manifesto which im just reading he said communism can't work and that you need something in the middle. You need equality for al (communism) and the oppurtunity to make a sucess. I don'r know made me think twice, what would you say?

I would say your father is quite good at giving canned answers that have been programmed into his vocabulary since he was a child.
Goody, goody gumdrops for him.

Just one thing: Equality for all doesn't necessarily means communism and vice versa.

The stage before communism is socialism, this so far is as far as nations have managed to progress (this is where Cuba is today). Can and will communism come about? I believe it is evevitable.

um....did your dad every actually say something substantive????
Because the answer he gave you is meaningless rhetorical bullshit.
I doubt he put any real thought into it, so neither should you.
And I believe a pink rabbit created the universe.
That explains a lot about you.

It actually was susprisingly good.
I chose this name here for the symbolism, not to exalt the book.

settle down boys
well, crossfire, i for one believe you father is quite a wise man because there is no yes or no answer to your question.
that 'something' in the middle is what we as a society are missing. it could be an iron fist dictator or the understanding of a race that we should help eachother.
i believe that human nature today is selfish and crual, so productive socialism cant, at this stage, act properly.
by the way, if someone says something that contadicts your opinion, cool down, listen to what he has to say and then react in a wholsom manner. swearing and using pink rabbit jokes get no one's ideas further
