Well, you can't 'rebuke' it, but maybe you can reject it. I'd say you could refute it, but I honestly doubt you can.

So you support a man and his regime without being able to tell anything positive about it? So basically you just like to go against the grain. Don't be that person.

Is that really the official DPRK website? I'm very confused how they know how the internet works over there since 99% of the people have no access.

... I'm very confused how they know how the internet works over there since 99% of the people have no access.
This comment in particular is so asinine that it's hard to imagine that anyone could make it in seriousness.
99% of people in America have no access to nuclear missiles, therefore America doesn't have nuclear missiles?
99% of people in France have no access to particle accelerators, therefore CERN doesn't exist?
etc etc.
So, the fact that you have made it makes me doubt your seriousness. Hence 'are you actually real?'. The 'actually' makes the sentence a tautology as 'actually real' has no different meaning to 'really actual', 'actually actual', 'really real' or just 'real'.

Okay maybe that was an exaggeration but are you sure it is. I mean how do they have time to make that. I better not get some scarcastic comment about this too. I could say the most intelligent thing as you'd still mock me.

Wait...are you saying he is too stupid to detect intelligence in a statement? o.O||
North Korea has...what?...two thousand IP addresses...which connect everybody who uses the internet to the internet...that is not a lot...but the service is free.
It is also illegal for South Koreans (by South Korean law) to communicate with North Koreans online and if you purchase something North Korean online (yes...they have a webstore...or had. no idea if it is still operational) you can face several years in jail...because jeeej democracy.

I'm not complaining on the basis that your figure is wriong, but that your argumentation doesn't make sense. 99% of the popualtion of many countries doesn't have access to something, especially in terms of technology (hence US nukes and French particle accelerators). That doesn't mean the technology doesn't exist. So why would you think that the internet doesn't exist in N Korea, just because a large proportion of the population has no access to it?
... I mean how do they have time to make that...
I don't even know what that question (if it is a question) is supposed to be asking. How do people in N Korea have time to make the internet?
... I better not get some scarcastic comment about this too. I could say the most intelligent thing as you'd still mock me.
I firmly believe that people should ask questions, and I also believe that it's up to people who have examined something to share their experience of it but really, "I'm very confused how they know how the internet works over there since 99% of the people have no access" is a really stupid thing to say. So several million people don't have access. So what? Several or tens or hundreds of thousands do, so why shouldn't the internet work?

This is the learning forum:
The purpose of this measure is to create a more learning friendly environment by making it easier for the BA team to intervene against non-contributing (spam) and hostile (flaming) remarks. The BA will be monitoring the Learning forum extra carefully, in an effort to give it's quality a lift, and make it better resemble it's description:
A place for beginners and learners to ask their political questions about theory or specific issues. Don't worry if you think your questions are stupid or pointless, ask away. Learning is not stupid and is never pointless.
Please help us with this effort, by making useful contributions in a respectful tone in this forum - and by reporting posts that break the rules or are rude to new users, and other people striving to learn about revolutionary left politics.
"He died, hurrr" doesn't quite cut it. Are the mods asleep?

Is there any information about how many of those people have access to the internet vs. the North Korean intranet? I'd figure that the former is far more exclusive. Not that it would be hard to understand the former if you had access to the latter, but it would be a very different online environment with different potential, so I'm curious.

I might have this wrong but, kim il sung did not organize the revolution it was more like he was put in charge of part of the revolution already in progress and messed that part up pretty bad, kim il sung was a low level military officer who won a small victory over japan, over some village, he then was picked to run the northern korean faction of the communist party, where he instigated the korean war against the wishes of stalin, after the de-stalinization of the soviet union, kim il sung adopted a policy of jucheism "self reliance" which was basically extreme isolationism. Considering he was only placed in power because of his support of the UN, I wouldn't really see him as doing anything good? He made the left look pretty bad so I doubt anyone on the left supports him in any way

If you support him, surely you wouldn't need to ask people what positive things he did? Surely it is your job to know these positive (non-existent) things he apparently did to convince other people why the holy and wise O leader is worth supporting?

The only pseudo-positive thing he did which is only if you have a twisted mind is that his propaganda worked. At least people there don't see their lives surrounded by lies, like in other dictatorships, he was skilled enough to fool his people so they actually believe they are living in paradise.

Give one reason to have even have a "favorable" view of him. Maybe even half of a reason if a whole one is too much.

I have no information on computer use or connectivity (intra- or inter-) in N Korea. I'm just guessing, knowing that there is some internet usage in N Korea, but suspecting it's not as high as, let's say, the UK, percentage-wise.
