Me and my girlfriend are thinking of going to Seattle. What's the plane like? Is this even realistic?

What about Phoenix, Arizona?

The plane?

I've been thinking about moving to Seattle, myself, but I'm not sure what you're asking.

I'd move somewhere where I had connections. Do you know people in that area of the country?

PNW; Pacific North West?

I don't care about having connections because, honestly, I don't want to be with people and it seems there are vastly more like minded people in Washington state.

I think Phoenix would be great because of the heat and I feel like I could be alone and at peace. Probably sounds bad, but that's kind of where I want to leave to end everything and be permanently isolated.

Seattle I'd live with someone, and Phoenix is where I'd be alone just fade away

Seattle and Phoenix are both major cities, Phoenix in particular when you take into account the sprawling tri-city area (Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa). If you want to be alone do it right and move out to the boonies. But you know what they say: "wherever you go, there you are". Don't expect a change of scenery to make your life more bearable.

When I was looking for somewhere to move I considered Omaha. Mid-sized city of 500,000 so it has some resources, and it also has a low cost of living, cheap housing and a decent job market. All things to consider when finding a place to move. That's in the USA; if you're open to & have the ability to live outside the country, the options are obviously much greater.

I now live most of the year in Fairbanks Alaska, otherwise known as Hell on Earth. It's a good place to live if you've got the money and hate people, though. Plenty of places to be alone in Alaska.

It is now my life's mission to introduce the word "boonies" into English parlance.

Seattle is pretty close to some national forests where you can go have some alone time. Also, all of Eastern Oregon is a huge desert if you're more into that.

Haha yeah if you take highway 20 east of Bend it's like being on the surface of the Moon

I would advice Istanbul, Perugia, Izmir, Porto, or Amsterdam.

go help the kurds fight against religious nuts

or go somewhere really crazy cold/warm/uninhabitable where there aren't a lot of people, but there's some steady method of employment in a dangerous but awesome job

maybe you could go to tibet or nepal and become a sherpa and die on mt. everest

fuck oregon, go big or go home

Rent can be insanely high in Seattle proper.

And a good portion of eastern Washington is, as well.

Boonies.

boonies, boondocks, the sticks, the backwoods...

Or, to quote my parents personal favorite, "Bumfuck Nowhere".

I'd advise Gaćice, Croatia. It's a wonderful little village with a...picturesque name

Good luck Sinister if you decide to move.

I think about moving a lot.

Southern Mexico, Brasil, Germany...

I don't speak the language of the latter two, so I should just check out Mexico.

Its a pretty cool place, there are a lot of jobs in the area, and it tends to pay rather well. You can also live in the outskirts to save money.

What's nice about Guerrero?

I think the reason I haven't done it yet is because I don't know how to go about it (legally?) and I don't know anyone there.

Obviously Bibinje are far better. Don't believe it? Well... just don't say it in Bibinje, you're likely to get shot.
