I am a communist from Norway. I used to lurk for quite a time here, but am now confident enough to come out in the open and learn and discuss with comrades.

My basic interest is Marxist theory, including the tenets of dialectical materialism as laid out by Marx and Engels, but also various straits of revolutionary leftism. Besides that I´m quite engaged in history (especially that of the Soviet Union) and events and happenstances who has implications for the proletariat of our time.

Dialectical materialism, not to be confused with historical materialism, was an unfinished theory drafted by Engels alone and later accepted by Lenin, Trotsky and Stalin. Marx was not involved.

Yes, that was what I meant. I should have made the distinction between dialectical and historical materialism. Dunno why it went over my head the first time. Anyway, my interest apply to both. Thanks, RedWorker. I stand corrected.
