I occasionally put mine in invisible mode because it directly correlates to my mental health, if I'm feeling bad, I hide myself so people don't know I'm on.

Why can I not see an OP in this thread?
Because my OP was about myself? and the thread title was a question?

I was having a technical error and couldn't see a first post on this thread but I could on the other threads in the forum. I will delete those two posts I made and this one in a few minutes after you see it.
I had the same technical error earlier but it is okay now too.^
Not that I can contribute to the thread, I don't hide offline (no point anyway I'm hardly a known poster lol).

It appears you didn't answer my question, but I know who you are and I can answer for myself why you interchange between visible and invisible. I actually miss talking to you.

I typed up a response a few hours ago, but when I went to post it the server error message for RevLeft came up again as it has been doing today, so my post was deleted before I could actually post it. I hate you RevLeft.

Anyways, finally retyping what I had intended to post the other day, I keep my profile on invisible mode just because I don't like people knowing if I'm online or not. I don't know why, but I just like it this way more. Especially during debates, it is much nicer to not have the other person know if you're on the thread. It allows you to take your time with replying because they can't know if you have looked at the forum recently.

I do the opposite. Sometimes during a back and forth i will leave the thread up and walk away, leaving my opponent to frantically refresh the page looking for a response that won't come for hours

Or never if I forget about it, which happens
Mine stems from a time when I was wary of CWI officials reading the same threads as I did and seeing I would be reading them. This was at a time when there were a lot of nagging discussions regarding the CWI and I got mails from high ups (international secretariat members) that I should stop posting there.

That very frequently happens to me or I get lazy because I got high
