For all of the discussion of the DPRK that occurs on this board, why do DPRK sympathizers etc. never bring up the Taean Work System? It seems like something that, at least in principle, would be of huge interest to discussions over worker's power (or lack thereof, depending on where you fall on the question) in the DPRK.

In fact, strangely, the DPRK seems to be one of the only nominally socialist states whose model of workplace democracy gets a detailed description of its inner-workings on Wikipedia (it's in section 2.2.3):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_North_Korea

Given how one-sided discussions of the country tend to be, I was wondering why a (at least on paper) democratic workplace model supposedly central to economic management/planning is given such a long description, and such short shrift, between Wiki and Revleft.

Thanks for any insights. Please be nice to each other, guys, and this might actually be interesting.

Because we don't even know wheter it exists, we do know this exists though; http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rajin-Sonbong_Economic_Special_Zone
Everyhing about juche is pretty damn specific to the north koreab situation, sure, if there is something really intresting there we could discuss it but I assume it is pretty much the same as with gadaffi's green book, its all exclusively exists on paper and at that its a poor redressing of established socialist, anarchist of even corporatist/fascist concepts...
