Rather vulgar even by "tankie" standards. The aesthetic of most dark military-industrial bands, or their specific ideological-political connotations today are completely and wholly proto-Fascist. It doesn't matter if this is dressed up in some red flags here or there - I mean this music is a disgusting monstrosity even by Stalinist standards, with its shining romantic overtones of love, pride through egalitarian struggle and glory in the achievement of its defense. Instead this is profoundly ugly - the ugly shit-stain of a past failed struggle with only the raw military aesthetic left behind.

The exception to dark military-industrial bands being fascist is of course Rome, which instead of glorifying war in such a dark way exemplifies the complexity of its horrors, it's meant to be provocative and stimulating about the bloody truth of war behind all of the hoopla (interestingly it's hilarious how Fascist dolts construe it as somehow glorifying Nazism, when the band members are explicitly left-wing anarchists).
