anyway, yeah. my only major union experience was a white collar union, but even there, it's a bunch of reaction. there are no unions to speak of for maintenance and warehouse work in texas, which is what i was doing before confining myself to the desk, but i imagine many of the rank-and-file would be even worse. i'm convinced at this point that unions are not the instruments for genuine working class expression, at least in the United States.
