Hi everyone! I am a freshman in the communist world. My history teacher is very economic-liberal so I was taught a bad image of what he calls communism. The first time I accepted communism as a legitimate ideology was about a year ago - met proper fellows ;-)
I cannot remember the exact date, I think it is about six months ago when I understood my political view as communist. I do not like to put myself into a more specific group, but if i had to, I would declare myself as a revolutionary Marxist being prone to anarcho-syndicalism. I cannot support the main ideas and political views of Maoists, Marxist-Leninists (not to say "Stalinists", in my opinion a combat term, but it applies perfectly to some people I have talked with) or left-wing anti-Germans (oh, I am from Germany btw), whereas I do not see them as my enemies, but rather as collocutors I can either teach or learn from about communism and political topics.
Although I am not having any troubles in discussing with liberals / conservatives / supporters of "social" market economy in and above my age, I still feel that my knowledge is very limited. By now, I have only read a few books by Marx, but neither anything by Engels yet nor "Capital" (I started reading about 50 pages and then decided to begin with other writings for easier understanding). In hope to expand my knowledge by discussing with other comrades I want to join you and appear in some threads now and then :)

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Many have began their journey up the Mountain that is Capital but few have made it to the top. Ehh I prefer big Bills quote over the book anyway.
