View Full Version : Overthrow Liberland

Comrades, recently the most vulgar among capitalist apologists have declared an independent free market free state known as Liberland. Unsurprisingly, this country which claims to uphold absolutist interpretations of liberty have declared that you are not allowed citizenship of you have communist sympathies or are in favour of restrictions on private property. Evidently, this free market commune will collapse on its own, it cannot transcend its free market utopianism, so why bother overthrowing it? Because collapse is not the same as emancipation. Let's struggle tirelessly for the emancipation of the Liberland proletariat, let's struggle tirelessly for the overthrow of Liberland, let's struggle tirelessly for the establishment of Kommünland! We cannot afford sectarianism at this crucial moment, I call for all revolutionary socialists to rally behind the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Liberland Kommünist Partisi.
Devrim! Özgürlük! Sosyalizm! Forvet!

Hmm, I'm not sure whether the microstate or its communist microparty is more embarrassing. Seriously though, why is it all in Turkish?

You'd rather have it in all Czech?

Get in touch with Linksradikal if he's still around, he's from Croatia - he might be able to go and occupy it. With a folding chair and a newspaper, probably.
The only reason it exists (from what I can determine) is that Croatia drew its border in 1995 (or whatever) and the Danube has shifted in its bed since then. Serbia treats the mid-point of the river as the border; Croatia takes the border it had in 1995 as the border. So there are several bits of the Serbian side of the river claimed by both Serbia and Croatia, and some bits of the Croatian side of the river that neither side claims (wrong side of the river for Serbia, but Croatia doesn't officially recognise they exist, though de facto they're part of Croatia).

So they take this patch of land where anybody could come and do to some extent whatever they wanted and the first thing they do is ban freedom of speech, freedom of movement and freedom of thought. That's lolbertarianism for you.

So they looked at the Balkans and thought what it needs is more right-wing warlords feuding over territory.

Let's not and who the fuck cares but cool troll thread nonetheless
Anyway if I ever did wish to visit that no-man's-land between Croatia and Serbia, I'd consider a cute lil' coup d'etat. But I'm more of a Mediterranean guy so no sorry.

Not sure if you actually think there's warlord governed tribes here or not but if you are - no.

Milosevic was a socialist hero, not a right-wing warlord, that's why some proper Communist parties (capital-C) supported him.

I bet 100€ that this is a libertarian infiltrator.

Oh no you caught me! I spent this whole time joining groups discussing Leftism, debating for Luxemburgism just to mess up this post. I am a Libertarian spy sent by Ron Paul to destroy this post. I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for these meddling kids!

I wnadered there on foot and alone during night to get the best ćevapi in town (back then, 5 or sligthly more years ago, Čingać) so don't go around udermining my authority :tt2:
Anyway, I got an idea, along the lines of Blake Baby's proposed class war plan. A newspaper, two folding chairs, and Xhar Xha&Chewbacca as the assault team of exclusively our own making.
Of course, donations from the international, Turkey based, alliance for the liberation of Liberland necessary.

People seem to have the wildest ideas about the balkans.
