Liberation by Mao

Hello, comrades.
I am a teenager living in Boise, Idaho.
I don't have much to say except I'm Maoist and have been prowling RevLeft for a few months now, and am returning to communism after ignoring politics for a while.

That's about it.

Welcome :)

If you have political questions, you can ask them in the Learning forum. That's why it's there after all!

If you have questions about your account, don't hesitate to send me a PM or ask here.

Welcome! You will find Orthodox Marxism and anarchism to be the dominant tendencies here. But it seems like Maoists are viewed as the most tolerable of the leninists. At least in my experience.
Enjoy the discussions.

Maoism tends to mean a pretty wide swath of things depending on who you're talking to (three heads or five? Butch Lee or Bob Avakian?) - are there any particular directions you've been drawn in?

As far as it goes (which, to be honest, is only so far) I'm relatively sympathetic to / have had some contact with the Parti Communiste Revolutionaire/Revolutionary Communist Party (http://www.pcr-rcp.ca/) (no relation to the similarly named American group) which, to some degree, grew out of the ashes of En Lutte!/In struggle! (https://www.marxists.org/history/erol/ca.secondwave/index.htm#mlocis). Are you familiar at all? I don't know if they have an American "sister party" or anything.
