This.
Also, I guess the partners involved encourage each other to be independent and do things that make them feel happy and fulfilled. I think healthy couples spend time apart as well as doing things together.

the campsite rule is my guide, always make sure that when you leave everything is in a better state than you found them.

Refusing to communicate your feelings, bottling up your emotions and alcohol dependency.

OMG absolutely! I'll be sure to do this! Do you also recommend I make obscure genital art and worship phalluses?

What Communer said almost 100% of the time is true. However, my girlfriend isn't very encouraging of me transitioning and when I try to baby step forward she insists I'm going to fast and gets angry with me.

If you're not sure, then it's probably not. This isn't to say it must be terrible, just that you probably have doubts that it's not as good as it could be, and that would probably be true. But who really knows how to have healthy relationships these days anyway? We get 12 years of mandatory math and language instruction in school - nothing on relationships xD

My friends think my ex is a shitty liberal hipster, and her friends think I'm a a macho insurrecto-bro. I think we both have more nuanced views of one another but . . .

Shared political commitments - not only in the abstract but in terms of a concrete vision of praxis - is apparently kinda important.
