Genuine Revolutionary Communist Groups or Parties In the US?

So are there any genuine Revolutionary Communist groups in the US specifically in California?

I've seen them Bob Avakian group and specifically with Bob Avakian's group seems like they think he's a modern communist Messiah and something about that just turns me off.

I don't watch the movie Avakian and Cornell West did. However, the more I learn about communism and socialism at this point the beliefs I'm embracing seem to be somewhere between Avakian and West - if that makes sense. There is something about Avakian I can't put my finger on that just kind of turns me off.

I'm looking for group that I can get involved with. The leads would be appreciated and how to get in touch with them would be great.

Please forgive me if I have lots of typos - I have severe carpal tunnel so I'm using dictation software.
