We all know that Capitalism is predicated on sequestering all sense of happiness and socioeconomic security into a wealthy elite who trivialize the well-being of the workers who expend the actual physical energy that produce their wealth. But what comes with this immoral ideology is the elitist exclusivity, egotism, and hyper-standards. As it pertains to Hyper-Standards, because Capitalism has been in place here in the US for 240 years, people are born into the social expectations from their family, friends, and peers to grow up aspiring to climb the social and economic hierarchy upon reaching adulthood, and sometimes a little earlier. This includes getting a job as early as you can, whether your education is coming along well or not, and striving to live a life where you pay the bills yourself, have a family, and degrade anyone that doesnt follow that same path. The Wealthy Elite have programmed these standards into themselves regarding the grandiose aspirations of one day being at the very top of the social hierarchy and always wanting to profit off of anything you can imagine. These Hyper-standards have trickled down into the minds of employers of fast food restaurants, warehouse jobs, service jobs, and any other job you can think of that consists of middle class workers, to the point where these very employers are only looking for people with a golden resume, despite the fact that not every job requires grandiose skill. Anyone with an iffy work history is turned down because of these hyper standards, and by consistently not finding work because of this, may lose their incentive to even look for a job. Welfare rightfully exists for the unemployed, and they unjustly get degraded by the wealthy elite, and even fellow middle class citizens who complain about the mere existence of welfare and how it takes too much out of their "hard earned" money. This very philosophical civil war among the middle class needs to stop. Slightly secure middle class workers will complain that the refrigerators of unemployed welfare citizens have more food than theirs, and attribute this to the fault of the welfare citizens. This civil war needs to stop, the middle class workers who do that very complaining are losing sight of who the real enemy is and what the real problem is, which is the excessive greed of the top 1% who are in charge of setting the wages for whatever job they have. The middle class needs to protest or do whatever they can to have their wages increased, which they should be, because the tax the middle class workers pay into welfare is very innocuous to their economic state, so welfare isnt the problem, disincentive to work isnt the problem, because that disincentive is a by product of the hyper standards of the rich, because if you dont aspire to be like them in order to augment your socioeconomic status, you deserve to rot. This "Profit above Morals" structure known as Capitalism and the occasional misdirected complaint from hard working middle class citizens towards those on welfare must both be eradicated, and replaced with a Democratically Socialist Society consisting of worker/consumer cooperatives throughout the economic landscape, minimum wage should be increased to at least $15/hour for all middle class jobs, and welfare needs to be maintained, if not slightly increased, to provide a safety net for the poor in case some people still dont want to work or cant find work, because unemployment, whether by choice or not, is not a violation of morals and is not indicative that someone deserves to rot. Education must be either free or very affordable for people that want to learn something to either get a job in that given field or if they simply just want to learn something. I am well in favor of a society that values intelligence, morals, and intellectual ability slightly above simply being productive. Our healthcare system needs to emulate that of either the canadian system, the british system, or a mix of both, because Capitalism has invaded the healthcare system and brought its immoral economic competition to something that should not have competition. The healthcare system must be as Denzel Washington said in the movie John Q..."SICK........HELP!" I dont believe that anybody should ever have the right to be fully selfish with their money, no matter if it was achieved through hard work or inheritance, everyone that is economically secure should have the human obligation to be somewhat philanthropic with their money, because Altruism and Reciprocity is human nature, not Greed.

A lot of what you say about difficulty finding a job has to do with the reserve pool of labor, which is surprisingly high in most developed countries. The skill mismatch is also real, due to the ubiquity of taylorism. I'd say these are potentially more difficult and systemic problems than the protestant work ethic issue, which I agree is a powerful tool the bourgeoisie have always wielded
