Despite being a comedy app, many political groups(Nationalists, capitalists, communists, etc) use it to debate, talk, and just post about politics. Recently, the LibCaps and the Leftists have been clashing more than ever, and we need help. All you have to do is download iFunny and KIK Messenger, and you'll be part of the group. Not to sound like I'm soliciting, but I think many of you would really enjoy (and we would certainly benefit) if you were to join a group called "Leftist Union" on an app called "iFunny." It probably sounds childish, but the app itself actually has a pretty large political community (why does a comedy app have a large political community? I honestly do not know). There's actually many intellectuals on the app despite what it probably sounds like and it is really good for debating and rebutting right-wingers and other folk (If you've seen Apollo advertising for Leftists to join, ignore that; he makes it sound like some infantile emotion-based group).

I think its a good place to try and get an outreach into educating and convincing younger folk (12-24) of communism, and any new Marxists would be very much appreciated (we have few Marxists with a good grasp on theory).

First of all, I'm not duplicating anything if you're implying I copied-and-pasted anything. There was somebody I know who asked, but he didn't provide any meaningful reason besides "combat the right wing." Secondly, I don't think it's useless at all. It's one of the most widely used apps and has a large political community. Educating young people (from 12 to 24) and exposing them to Marxist ideas is a necessity. Helps expose them to things they don't hear often or hear in a contorted way.

That other person also posted a thread about leftist union. We are referring to to that. Also most of the 'socialists' on there are IRA fanatics and the whole app is sexist as fuck. I wouldn't waste time on it. It's not gonna gain much support when they can just swipe past it.

Ifunny was how I discovered Marxism and I was part of the community for a long time. However it is childish and has disintegrated into a bunch of 12 year olds posting memes. The community is also extremely sexist, racist, anti semitic and homophobic. It seems like the most of the members are jocks on the verge of being fascist, who obsess over the Soviet Union and DPRK. I would not recommend that anyone join this app as it takes a lot of effort to navigate and gain a reasonable following.
