Check out this new 'left' party in the UK. It is endorsed by Plan C so I thought i'd take a look.

Upon initial perusal, I thought it looked very smart for a new 'grassroots' left site, then I noticed that the main page of jmrphy.net is dedicated to some hipster-looking academic who seems to be selling his own 'radical' notions off as some political pipe-dream of a party.

Truly sad.

This website design just seems so terrible. The way the blocks coalesce is really jarring, and the background (and the name of their organization) just reeks of liberal edgyness. The title links are overly melodramatic, and not only that, but the links themselves redirect towards tumblr.


Liberal positions disguised in pseudo-radical rhetoric are always increadibly annoying.
