View Full Version : Maintaining running costs
Hey all,
As you probably have noticed, we're running in the red again and the gap seems to be widening. The bare running costs for running Revleft are $110 every month.
If a few comrades could chime in a cup of coffee, that is $2,50, each month, we'd be solid. If we're running a surplus we could even work toward hiring experts to fix the diverse problems on our forums and work on the much needed upgrade.
But priority for now is maintaining the base level of $110 every month. Are you willing to chime in (http://www.revleft.com/vb/payments.php)?

I keep thinking I'll have the money then some shit comes up but if I do then I will surely donate to revleft.

I will chip in, however, it seems that after my credit card has expired I was given some shitty debit card, which can't be used for online transactions. So I first need to fix this thingy and then will donate. Also wanted to bump this so that others can see it as well.
Seeing as quite a few issues have been resolved for the moment, it makes sense to bump this. Especially since we've dropped to -$30.
So, what's with it? Where is the much needed caffeine input?

My usual $2.50 donation per month should start again soon, PayPal have been fucking around with me lately.

All we need is a bunch of folk chucking in 2.50 each. We can't really expect the website to run all that smoothly if we can't do at least this.
So say no to that coffee or beer today, and yes to revleft!

Done. I want a beret autographed by Che himself and by Comrade Wolfie though.
And the shortage went down to -$12.50, well done everyone :)
Now we just need that little extra and we can start actually planning on moving forward with the website, which requires more cash of course.

What happened to the Che-Lives store? Does that not bring in (enough) money?

I have no idea whatever happened to that. I vaguely remember that store going out of business (it was never owned by Malte).
So, I'm bumping this again, given that we're so close at breaking even. We have a shortage of just $10. If a few people would be willing to step in at $2.50 we could really start looking forward towards other goals besides keeping the lights on.
Will you help keep the lights on?
