Anarchist Guerrillas in Syria

A lot of the more well versed members will know about sites like 325 no state.

Usually these sites focus on the greek groups like CCF and or the Italian FAI.

Recently there has been a lot of posting about Anarchist and Socialist fighters going down to Syria and fighting with the Kurds? Anyway have more info about this whole thing?

They are mostly going to fight with the YPG/YPJ, a libertarian socialist group (formerly Marxist-Leninist). They are in control of much territory in northern Syria and are fighting against ISIS. They recently defended the city of Kobane from ISIS which was a major victory.

Most of the things I have read about their socialist experiment have been pretty positive so far.
