I've always considered myself ultra left wing, I believe in Marx's economic theory but never really enjoyed democracy (I mean if I had to pick between all the popular views I pick direct democracy) I instead wish for a government ruled by sociologist professionals and laws must be scientifically studied (probably only guy who thinks this). I believe violence should only be used if violence is brought to you. So I have some questions...

1. What American political party should I join? (Biggest numbers and my beliefs).

2. I'm unsure of what to think of certain groups like Weather Underground, FARC, Black Panthers, and the IRA, should i like them or not?

3. And what do you suggest for me to research to greater develop my opinion?

Well, it sounds like you are still a capitalist. It also sounds that you disagree with Marx on revolution, the state, etc.

1. I suggest you avoid any and all political parties. They are all irrelevant to the movement of the working class, to it's emancipation. If, by chance, when the proletariat begin to move and act in a revolutionary manner, then the possibility that a "political party" is formed is there. Join it.

2. These groups are divorced from the reality of Marx's critique of capitalism, and are utopian socialists. All of these groups are/were Stalinist organizations. They reject many core tenants of Marxism. Whether you like them, or not, is up to you and your discretion. Not everything is black and white.

3. You should really start to read Marx. The Marx and Engels selected works section on marxists dot org is a great start for beginners.

I have a few other articles and places you could, and in my opinion should, look to develop your views. Send me an inbox message and I will hook you up... my post count is too low for links.

1. I believe that most large political parties in the US are impossiblist and I would not join but there must be some small socialist movement out there.

2. I had that idea, thanks for confirming my suspicion.

3. Getting the manifesto as soon as possible.
