One thing that kinda bothered me about it was the end (Spoiler alert). The main character has an about face and starts talking about the 'British values' of tolerance and respect. I see this kind of thing touted a lot in the liberal press and it makes no sense. Tolerance and respect are the values of liberals all over the western world, there's nothing intrinsically British about them.
Watching it is the only way you're going to get to see unions opposing the British government in a TV drama though.
