My friend is taking women studies in school and the issue of lack of equal rights among females came up in work places and society and such.
And getting equity and fairness in society among females.
Well most religion conflict with this where a women is property and less human. So how can left and people in women studies and feminism movement deal with this problem.
One can go back in US history where women have no rights at all to go to higher education or to get certain jobs even to this day there are male oriented jobs yes male oriented jobs. Many countries women have no rights to get job or go to school.
How can the left and feminism movement deal with this problem.
Even in the US certain jobs are male jobs and other jobs and position in power it is very hard for a female to get into.

How can this problem be fixed? And it not just women rights but even homosexual rights that are in conflict with religion.
The old religious text was very angry and evil god and very intolerant and very much so with old testament.
