I'm fairly new being open about being radically left wing and I was wondering out of the parties in Britain e.g: SPEW, SWP, AWL, SLP and the CPB are the most active and not overly Trotskyite ?

The Labour party

Given the thoroughly economistic politics of most/all of the groups the OP mentions, this is actually quite a spot on answer.

OP: Given that the SPEW, SWP and AWL are Trotskyist, what would "not overly Trotskyite" mean? The SLP is basically just a website and the CPB is a daily paper.

Of the ones you mentioned the swp has largely collapsed after being exposed for rape apologism, the awl are active in London but not so much elsewhere, spew are probably the most prominent trots now. The other two barely exist. I mean it all depends on a) where you live and b) what sort of political activity you are hoping to find. Personally, I think there are big problems with every group you mentioned.

I was more or less just wondering if they were the only left wing options in England? and I thought the it was essentially SPEW which was active especially amongst the union, I'm a member of.

Depends on what you're looking for ideologically and activism wise, where you are. CPB broad left non-sectarian work, SPEW are all about TUSC or their other fronts, SWP big thing is being anti something, at the moment its UKIP and setting up a front for it. These three are your best bet. I am of course biased though. All are active in trade unions so it'd depend which one you're in and how they behave in it. Anyway I hope for find something that suits you but I'd say either read what they've got on their site or even better see how they operate in practice to see whether a group's for you.
