Fucking Doctor Zhivago

That movie portrays revolutionaries as "murderous neurotics." Has anyone seen this movie and cares to comment?

put the second DVD in first and watched half of it before I reaized what had happened

a waste of time, boring and foolish

dr. zhivago was one of the most shallow and uncaring characters I've ever encountered in fiction

I've been planning to see it for a while. It's considered to be one of the all time great American films. A few months ago a remake was made and broadcasted on public TV, i didn't watch since I wanted to see the original first.

I'm going to watch it anyway. After I complete watching all of the 100 movies on AFI's most thrilling list I will make it my mission to see all 100 on their best overall movies list. Dr. Zhivago is #39 on the overall list.

The only character I admire is the blond revolutionary who is uncompromising in his zeal for the revolution and the people.

like when they had that parade and it turned into a riot when he got his scar
