Can anyone answer these for me?
1) What was the political structure of the USSR immediately after the revolution and how did this change during the civil war and later under Stalin?
2) How was the country run and how democratic was it?
3) How far was the political structure of the USSR a realisation of Marx's ideas? Is there anything to suggest that it was?
4) Are there any legitimate historians who defend the USSR's political structure/consider it to be an application of Marxist Socialism?
