Are there any revlefters doing anything like that? and if not would anyone be interested? I haven't given much thought to it but I feel like a lot of us could benefit from exploring difficult texts and ideas together in real time. I'm not setting myself up as leader or anything like that, just broaching it as an idea. What do you guys think?

As far as I know some organisations organise international skype-conference type reading groups. For instance, Marxist-Humanist initiative just recently had a reading on Grundrisse, if I am not mistaken.

Depending on the group of people, I would be very likely to opt-in.

Our readergroup in Communist Platform primarily uses Mumble. We've had good experiences with this. We do meet from time to time in a physical location though.

Presumably you speak german though? I've applied for membership of the CPGB-PCC and they seem to have regular video-conferences. I just thought it might be interesting for revlefters, partcicularly those who aren't expert in Marxist politics to get together and discuss things they're struggling with.

Nah, we keep to Dutch ;) But we can switch to English if we'd receive guests. This is our agenda (http://communisme.nu/leesgroep/).
