Hi guys, I figured I'd register here to ask my fellow American lefties for help :)
I am from England and recently I found an 'anthropological' website, where people do God awful things, like talking about 'racial tipology', or what sort of 'subraces' exist.

Not only that, but on top of being like this, after I joined the place, I was harassed (sometimes even sexually since I'm a woman), for proposing feminist points of view about the world; and suggesting to embrace a progressive future, rather than cling to backward and archaic mindsets.

I feel somehow ostracised since people like me are minoritary, although I am very grateful for those posters that did understand my point of view, and realise how folly it is to engage in hate speech online, just cuz of this mask that the Internet gives us.

I for one, think that hate speech and racial nonsense should not be allowed to survive online, now that it has been purged from real life politics and society; we can't risk a comeback of such horrid mentality that try to separate us from our fellow human beings, on the basis of skin colour, while condemning women to a life of soft-slavery, only living to serve their husbands.

Please register here, and come to my help. I'm sure we can replace those people in their own area, and clear the Internet little by little.

I know some would suggest me to just sue them and get their website shut down (cuz I think British law is against ths kind of rubbish), but I think we can demonstrate the superiority of our arguments without recurring to the authorities just yet.

I don't remember completely clearly but something in my memory tells me that because of DDOSing and spam/forum wars this sort of thing is discouraged.

The most effective way to combat this kind of thing is to refuse to give any more attention to it than it's already gotten. An audience, for or against them, would only legitimize their illegitimate positions. Let's not give those people an audience.

Also, any true anthropologist (yeah, yeah, fallacy or whatever) who has ever taken even the most introductory of anthropology classes knows that race has no genetic foundation and is merely a social construct. Anthropologists also tend to be fairly progressive, and modern anthropology itself has a long and valuable tradition of female contribution through women such as Margaret Mead and Ruth Benedict. So don't let those people color your opinion too much on anthropologists and anthropology as a whole. They are not endorsed or supported by the anthropological community in general.

I believe the position of most radicals, and certainly mine, is do not give racists and fascists a platform and it is a waste of time to use theirs. Unless we are talking about physical altercation, but the internet is different. One does not "win" an argument with racists and fascists.

Has it? Real life politics and society still seems pretty racist to me.

These "anthropology" forums are usually just places where people fight over who is "whiter" and other such nonsense while using 19th and early 20th century anthropology that nobody in the field considers valid anymore. Debates almost always turn ugly and personal.

I notice that when you try to debate reactionaries on the issues of racism or sexism they just dismiss you as a "cultural Marxist" or "political correctness police" who deny the "truth" as discovered by a certain group of reactionary figures including the likes of Richard Lynn, Charles Murray, and others. If you dig enough you find that all of these biological conservatives reference each other and are pretty much their own subculture. They will dismiss any critique as politically motivated so debating them on forums is often not worth it.

However, I think biological conservatism is a growing force today, so it is a worthy topic to discuss here where it can be analyzed and discussed in a worthwhile manner.

One does not "fight" fascists online. With regard to public platforms, exposing them, and discrediting them is useful - but to personally argue with a fascist places the argumentative significance in 'defending' your own ideas and convictions. You cannot argue with faith. And this is all a Communist might possess today: Faith actualizes with the expression of Communism, when truth is mediated through political power (the mass movement).

That does not mean they ought to be ignored, but the gaze through which arguments are put forward is the gaze of the ignorant, those perceptible to their lies, incapable of fathoming truth by merit of their condition. Dedication to the historic tradition of Communism does not derive from arguments, nay it does not even derive from an "intrusion" onto your world view with mere facts. It derives from the articulation of the historic force of Communism and identification with it. Our truth can never be known to others without power, or its expression through politics. If I really wanted to go after them, I'd go after their organization's sources of funding. Maybe it's just my own pre-conceived bias, but I'd suspect their funders have ulterior motives besides crude racism - simplistic racism is just something for the goons to believe ;)

Well if you ever meet up with a Russian or a Chinese as well as some subsets of Americans, I think you will find that there is more to race than skin color. There is a lot of genetic mixing going on on this planet for some time. A lot of it involves mixing animal(and not all the friendly, furry types either) and human DNA. Of course, you will never be told that by the mainstream media/science, but if you are observant, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see it. There's a reason some people are just born bad and upbringing and environment have nothing to do with it.
