I think it's from Capital.
It's basically about how the eradication of small artisanal businesses and the growth of larger businesses was a good thing because it's gonna be easier to socialise a bunch of massive factories than hundred places that employ nine people. Something like that anyway.
Any ideas?.

Somewhere in Communist Manifesto also I think. Search MIA (Marxist Internet Archive), they have all of Capital and major works hyperlinked.:)
