I weep every time I see supposed socialists fighting for an inter-imperialist, fascist cause. Well, no, I don't, but I certainly frown a bit.

Sums up the abyssmal political situation of today almost too well, doesn't it? While fighting against one imperialist block you are supporting another one. While fighting one set of fascists you are unintentionally aiding fascists of a different (or not so different) nationalism.

Not follow particulary the events. But it seems it just an old traditional war. Where two states fight each others for some fields. Both side picture the others as the devils, but i'am really not sure somebody is "right" there. It's typically bullshit. Poor people die for oligarches.

It is just a regular old war, you're right about that. It's the opposition groups that have been unable to put together a coherent analysis for themselves, which ends up in the situation Tim is describing where anti-fascists and fascists have linked up with one faction of imperialists to battle different fascists and anti-fascists who have in turn linked up with the other faction of imperialists. This is absolutely the 20th century repeating itself as farce, marx deserves some credit. Tragicomedy at it's worst
