According to some fellow who recently signed our guestbook, "che" is spelled with a little accent on top of the "e".
Is this right?
Where might this guy's information have come from?
If it's correct to add the accent, why isn't it commonly done?
Coments?

Maybe it is, but the english language doesn't use é. So they might of just ditched it for easier typing. Not alot of english keyboarder want to hit Alt+130 to get it! But I don't mind it.

As far as I know it is and I'd say DeadMan is correct. The lack of é in the English language is probably the factor.

I 've never seen it writen Che in my life, and I've been to plenty of countries where accents are usen on top of Es.
My che shirt bought in Brazil (where accents are used over Es) has his name written on the bottom with no accent on top of the E.

Ive seen it spelt many times with the accent, but neither his coffin nor the banknotes he signed had the accent on the e.

Maybe it depends on which language you type it in. But the common known here is Che, but if you write it Ché we will get what you are talking about.

in his autogram Che never usde an accent above the "e"...so I think its probably just Che without the accent above the "e"

I don't think that Che used the accent.

I found a pic of old cuban currency, one with Che's signature on it, and there's no accent
