Hardly scratches is right, I looked at the list for England and compared to the actual list of crimes committed by the English ruling class, it makes England look positively angelic. Also, that quote of a discussion between Churchill and Stalin reminds me of the Great Game of the mid-19th century that involved Britain and the Russian Empire.
