Ferret the Anarchist

This might be an entirely inappropriate sub-forum to place this particular thread on and if so I apologize sincerely but seeing as I don't use this site often, or at all really, I wasn't too sure where else to place it
I made a post on libcom a few hours ago and decided to make one here too, but i'm an anarchist communist from eastern Kentucky (Appalachia) and my sister is a left-market anarchist from the same area and we was wondering if there are any other anarchists in any Appalachian states that have any sort of significant attachment to the culture or region (and subsequently shitty state the region is in economically)?
We're wondering because we're contemplating trying to get some sort of organization started at some future point when either of us have time to dedicate more fully to it all
Would be really interested in knowing if anyone at least lives in any of the Appalachian states
