Lately I had been fooling around with a demo version of Fruity Loops, a program which lets you chop beats and just fool around with music. You can make your own beats and remix songs. But being a demo, it was pretty limited and eventually made my computer crash.

Do any of you guys enjoy tweaking and fooling around with music?

What programs (moderately priced) do you suggest?

nope, I don't tweak my music, but winamp is pretty good, there are a lot of sliders and buttons, but
I don't mess with them I just use it to play music

I believe winamp is free, but I'm not sure

If that includes making music videos, then yes. (Well, a music video.)

For making music videos? Adobe Premier. I didn’t have the program, but it was on the Computers in a class called Video Production I took back in high school. I recommend that program.

There's a demo version of a professional programme called Protools available for download here. (http://www.digidesign.com/ptfree/) It's not availavble for Windows XP unfortunately, but it's my favourite programme that I've used.

It's a multitrack recorder.
