South Korea has banned one of the only four parties represented in parliament and forced all their seats to be abandoned.

It is also known that the state has been engaging in a massive propaganda campaign in favor of the ruling 'Saenuri' conservative party, including such actions as the national security service sending millions of tweets.

South Korea has a history of being ruled in authoritarian manner until very recently.

I now await for the Republican Party to ban the Green Party and arrest Cornel West for showing support to Comrade Stalin and other pro-communist activities. This party proposed an alliance with the Korean Democratic Party for fucks sake which shows what kind of radical politics they express.
After the arrest of Lee Seok-ki and now the banning of the party, the future of a healthy South Korean democracy is looking even more bleak now.

Perhaps we should get some bros from Hollywood to make a movie about assassinating the President of the RoK
