I'm not sure if there's a thread for this already, but I made a quick check, and I feel safe creating this new thread. Basically, the point of this thread is to post something that gives you "the feels", whether it's something new or old. Be it a video, a photo, text, or anything you are allowed to post here, post it here whenever you come across it.
The other day, a friend and I were chilling, and he showed me what he called "The greatest speech ever". It really hit me in the softness. I'm not allowed to post a link yet, so you'll have to search it on YouTube. It has the same title in the quotation marks above. If someone else could post it, that'd be great.
Enjoy! ^_^

I'm guessing it's Chaplin's (don't know by what name you filthy Anglo imperialists know him as) speech.
This song is pretty gr8, gives me chills sometimes:

Yeah, it's Charlie Chaplin's. That's who I refer to him as. So, who are the "filthy Anglo imperialists" you were addressing, anyway? I can't imagine many people on this forum fitting that description.

Oh... <insert facepalm meme>
I'm not the best at communicating. I usually don't pick up on jokes when they're said, nor do I understand them 5 minutes after realizing a joke was made.

That's the speech! I'll post the particular video later down the road, once I have enough posts. By then, it'll be nice and refreshing. ^_^ The one my friend showed me was the same speech, but it had clips to match the speech, as well as a beautiful background music track.

I'm an owner of a monopoly cartel from South London, and I never wash.
Anyway, Martin's A Song for Lya always hits me fairly hard.
"The Normals have only a touch and a voice, then back to their darkness. They can barely find each other. They’re alone. Always. Groping. Trying, over and over, to climb out of their isolation booths, and failing, over and over.
Centuries ago there was a poet named Arnold, who wrote of a darkling plain. The poem’s in one of the old languages, but it’s worth reading. It shows – fear, I think. Something basic in man, some dread of being alone in the cosmos. Maybe it’s just fear of death, maybe it’s more. I don’t know. But it’s primal. All men are forever alone, but they don’t want to be. They’re always searching, trying to make contact, trying to reach others across the void. Some people never succeed, some break through occasionally. Lya and I were lucky. But it’s never permanent. In the end you’re alone again, back on the darkling plain."

Are you talking about the really on-your-nose version with the Inception theme tune?

You said you were going to post the version you watched. There is a version on YouTube called the "greatest speech," which is how you described it. In that version someone has overlaid the theme music from Inception, which I guess is specifically meant to manipulate your emotions to give you "the feels." I called it on-the-nose, which is a friendly way of saying crude :p

I was high on ecstasy once and decided to watch Martin Luther King Jr's "I have a dream speech" in its entirety -- you know, cuz I'm punk as funk. It was a deeply emotional experience...
