If I would have seen that out of context I would have been so confused. The second one, not so much.

I watched the first one when a friend linked it. It's intense. Great film making though.

I think I may have found in that first one the official new Worst Thing Ever to watch on mushrooms or LSD, claiming the throne from Polanski's The Tenant, or pretty much anything by Seth MacFarlane.
Adult Swim is basically the home of really unsettling surrealist shit these days. There aren't a lot of movies like that being made right now, not that I've seen anyways, and I seek that shit out - even, like, Kill List doesn't match up to the Heart She Holler show, also I think the Eric Andre Show of which I've only seen the pilot. You kind of need to go back to Eraserhead for that. Maybe it's just that television is the only medium where shit like that will be considered more than just David Lynch derivative.

The first one is best. David Lynch meets Donnie Darko.

I actually woke up on my friend's couch at, like, 3 AM a couple nights ago and that first video was playing. I woke up just as it was starting, actually. I watched the whole thing and then said "huh!", and went back to sleep. Kinda my reaction to everything Adult Swim puts out.

Squidbillies and The Heart, She Holler are the best things on television.
