In the last few weeks there have been a few mentions in the press of the student protests against increasing fees and debts, etc, including the protest at Warwick attacked by police.

Is anyone here involved or have any knowledge about any of this? Any news of the occupations at various universities around the UK (mostly England as far as I can see)? Any calls for solidarity with Warwick students, who are having a demo at 3.30pm, GMT/UTC today, it seems?

I'm not personally but there does seem to be a increase in activity over the last few months which the media are keeping fairly quiet about. There's been a fair few campus sitins/protests and the recent student protest against uni fees in London which by the looks of it a fairly strong anti-cap presence.
