I've been studying biochemistry and cellular biology...It hurts my brain.

Yeah, I've known many people who began as psych majors and subsequently switched to various other programs, or who otherwise took it as a "distribution requirement". It worked its way into some of my criminology courses, and I otherwise take some level of passing interest in it for personal reasons.

Freud has some interesting things to say, but overall he was...odd. I have some slight familiarity with behaviourism.

I think I fit the bill. You could say I know a little bit about psychology. Although the field is too big for anyone to be expert in all areas. My areas of knowledge include clinical psych, emotion, and the history of psychology. How might I be helpful to you?
