- What are your political ideas, if any?

I’m not sure how clearly I’m thinking much of the time and I’m not college educated so it’s difficult for me to express them. When I did that test online to find out what my orientation is they said I was very libertarian left because I think we should all help each other out and what people want to do should be up to them just so long as they’re not wrecking things for other people. I’m very hopeful that once we manage to ditch everyone having to fight each other for stuff many of the things I disapprove of will disappear of their own accord.
-How did you become a leftist?

I’m sure I’ve always been one but most of the time I’m not thinking on that kind of thing. So probably how I was brought up. I’ve decided to become a proper leftist (like do stuff about it) because I’m sick of it all, really tired of the way the news is going. We got to step up I think or it’s maybe too late soon.

I’ve joined because when I’ve been lurking it’s been annoying sometimes not being able to read the blogs. I’ve learned some I think from reading the things you all write about but I’m confused about most of it so I don’t expect to contribute except if I have questions about my reading.

Having joined just recently myself and having had experiences of just lurking around years and years ago on this forum welcome!

I'm sure you won't find a shortage of answers to any questions you have here and no matter how much you read and discuss you will always have a things to learn (especially with far-left theory and all the disagreements :)).

Hi again, thank you for my welcomes.

Q - I’ve got some reading material to read on pdf and will use the learning section if I need any help with it, which I probably will as looking at what I’ve got it looks quite difficult to understand. I’m hoping that when I get down to reading properly it’ll click.

Dr Rosenpenis – Just all of the news atm. Like today I read in the newspaper (not on front page of course) about how Europol have alerted that pimps are forcing people to work as sex workers and they make sure they’re at work by spying on them with webcams and it made me think on what a life that’d be. All that kind of thing, it all stops when people can’t be swapped for things. This is why we need to change how stuff is owned I think, though it’s possible I’m just parroting something I’ve read on here. But it does sound like sense.

White Sun – yes, I was disappointed at first to see so much division about theory on the site, I guess it’d be worrying if there wasn't any though.
