Probably the best american punk band and one of the most important punk bands ever. But don't be taken in by the charade of the reconstituted DKs without Jello. Without Jello there can be no Dead Kennedys. If you do go to a show be sure to stock up on packets of instant jello to throw at the band.

The new DKs are terrible, I can agree with you on that.

I used to be a huge Dead Kennedys fan. I had a few of their LPs, a few CDs, and all of Jello Biafra's spoken word albums (which I sold today :()

But I don't listen to them so much anymore, I've gotten more into reggae and all that.

I love the Dead Kennedys. I am listening to them right now. They are really great. They are razor-sharp in their satire. I would call Jello unique, but that word has been overused. I really mean it about him.

My favorite songs are "Kill the Poor", "Holiday in Cambodia", and "MTV Get Off the Air."

DK is pretty good... my friend's always going to the shows whenever they are in town ... plan to go next time ... police truck...ill in the head...too drunk to fuck and a grip more...they're bad-ass if you're into punk

No, you see Dead Kennedys weren't pretty good they were fucking GREAT but broke up years ago, around 15-20 years ago, so your friend is going to see some imposters.

The people going around calling themselves the DK Kennedys or whatever the fuck they are calling themselves are just some bastards trying to cash in on the name. You can't have Dead Kennedys without JELLO! If you do go for some misguided reason to see this inferior crap bring the packets of JELLO to throw at them.
