I've had plenty of experience in the woods in my area and have seen every animal species that one could possibly see. I don't believe in this profitable myth.
Anyone here believe in Bigfoot?

Utter folklorical nonsense of course.
Saci (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saci_%28Brazilian_folklore%29) is real tho.

I love mystery stuff like this. Aliens, big foot, yeti, loch ness, ogopogo.
Heh. I heard about Saci once through Porta dos Fundos -- was really odd, I recall not really getting it. Completely uninteresting to you all I realise, just wanted to say.

No, but I think it's more probable that there could be a unknown reclusive primate somewhere than grey aliens who like to mess with cows and make crop circles.
I like the folklore aspect of it, but it seems like a myth to me.

Phoenix Lights. These fascinate me. Anyone familiar? Explanations?

Why's this in non-political?
He's possibly the most famous gorilla... I mean, guerilla living in the jungle. Has evaded capture for time immemorial and is akin (in a way...) to Robin Hood! Or maybe the Phantom (unless he's fucking old as a muthafuck)?

I think the Phoenix lights were just flares from an F16, if one views footage of flares you'll notice a stark similarity.
Also a friend of mine named Brandon is large and hairy (my phone wanted to type gay for some reason. ) like Bigfoot

But those flares were a distinct event on the same day. Eye witness report that different lights moved vertically through the sky and that they were set in a black solid material. The then mayor has said this as well.
So what was it? Collective delusion?

I believe in aliens. Not the grand conspiracy of Area 51 being a secret base to host them, or any such thing, but the universe is a rather large thing, I cannot accept that we're the only life out there.
As for bigfoot, it's hard to imagine that a great ape wondering through the woods wouldn't have been tagged and bagged by now

I literally grew up in the Jersey Devil's backyard. Went to school with a Leeds who was a descendent from the Leeds family that birthed the Jersey Devil.
"The widespread newspaper coverage led to a panic throughout the Delaware Valley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delaware_Valley) prompting a number of schools to close and workers to stay home. During this period, it is rumored that the Philadelphia Zoo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Zoo) posted a $10,000 reward for the creature's dung."

my first year English comp teacher had an obsession with conspiracy theories and Bigfoot, and he incorporated it into his curriculum. he even wrote a novel about it that we had to buy, with our own money (a book which i ended up stealing because fuck that guy.) not only that but it's fucking everywhere in Portland.
i'm tired of it. not even the chupacabra was this hyped up in Texas.
