And yes, calling a settler colonisation scheme a "blend of Nationalism and Communism" will certainly raise eyebrows.

Probably referring to kibbutzim, which were intended to keep out Arab labour. Which just shows the extent to which the term "communism" has become meaningless, that people use it to refer to anything vaguely "communal".

Anyway, yeah, even if something was a "blend of nationalism and communism" we would still reject it on account of the "nationalism" part. You can blend ice cream and diarrhoea together too, but no one is going to drink that.
