Guys what's happening there? I don't see a thread here about it, am I crazy?
Apparently, 100 000 people are in the streets as an answer to austerity measures, and who's leading them are the green, socialists and syndicates, and there have been clashes with the police, 14 people hospitalised.
Who knows more???

Make this the "official" thread. Apparently the standard austerity measures: lowering wages, raising retirement age and so on.

Good. That usually means workers aren't passively marching to defeat behind the usual leftist clowns and are actually going off-script.
The video is horrible. Maybe it's just my browser but it was very jumpy and made my eyes hurt.

Lol, can't find it now but Brussels radio made a really nice mashup of soundbites of the march and riots and RATMs killing in the name off.
I guess the tone is set for the coming strikes.
