Hi. I'm Lantz. I'm from the northwestern US. I'm an anthropology student. I identify primarily as an anarcho-communist. I'm really into social theory and the like, and I love to argue.

Why are you not a Marxist? What draws you to "anarcho-communism"?

My words in the other thread have been taken out of context. I think that Marx's ideas were very important. HOWEVER, they are obsolete, because more diverse ideas have been built off of his ideas (with new ideas added as well). I believe in the foundation he set, but stopping where he left off and ignoring the past 150 years of social thought is pretty counter-productive in my opinion. It is only by pressing forward and letting go of our over-attachment to tradition that we can understand things better and in a more complete context.
