Hi folks. New member here from Bangladesh. Anybody can suggest me some reading materials on science as a imperialist tool? Or anything relating science and imperialism. Thanks.

I'm far from an expert on the subject, but some basic critiques of science, such as imperialism, can be found amongst the following links:

Read up on scientific racism and how it influence foreign policy in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Pretty intense and disgusting stuff, which eventually lead to all sorts of terrors such as the Rwandan genocide, mass genocide in the Congo, etc.

I'll second the comment on 18th+ 19th century scientific racism. Historic anthropology in general is a pretty good place to start.

However, I should say that you should be careful when focusing on science entirely as a tool of imperialism. For example, anthropology has been the driving force behind some terrible things, but it has also been the driving force behind a lot of really important social movements. The complete rejection of science and the scientific method leads to nothing but empty post-modernist tail chasing.

Anyway, that's my disclaimer, good luck with your research.
